A what point do we become "SLUTS?" Is there a number of men we have to sleep with to become sluts? For instance, is it once we have slept with 9, 18, or 27 men? Is it not necessarily the number but how you conduct you sexual encounters? In my opinion many women including myself have had their share of great, average and failed fucks. I have learned many lessons through the men I have slept with and I don't think I would be who I am today or tomorrow if I were to erase my good or bad sexual experiences. Is it someone who always ends up dissapointed after sleeping with men hoping it may be more time and time again? Or is it someone who is finding themselves through various sexcapades? If either of these are the case, are we all sluts or is it quite possible that we are all saints trying to find our way through sexual experiences?

I don't judge others by #'s and never will. A word I believe in is "protection" if you are very active,too many diseases out there and I believe that not many people disclose them before they have sex. I know that children as young as 12 are active and I find that to be a little too soon,emotionally they are not ready.

Slut is an outdated word. There still are women who are indiscriminately promiscuous who do not have good hygiene. I would submit they might be sluts, but I still think the word is designed to keep women down.
I've heard older men say a woman is a slut when she reaches the number 10. That blows my mind!
I will personally take my number to the grave, but I do believe what defines a slut is how the woman carries herself. If she is bragging about it, telling the whole world, and letting any guy know he could just take her, then she prob is one.

I feel that there is no certain number that labels you as a woman. I have only slept with 5 men in my life and that is just my preference. But why is it that we are labeled differently from a man. A man sleeps with many women and is considered a stud a woman does it and is considered a slut. If a person likes sex then they like sex, as long as you are being cautious and not sleeping with anyone elses man then why does it really matter?
I grew up in a highly christian environment where simply sex before marriage would equate to being a slut.

I think a slut is a chick that just ffucks a huge number of dudes at random. She fucks more than 5 guys a week. She usually fucks a whole clique of dudes , not at the same time but spreads the love. This blog is ironic, because just YESTERDAY I had to pop my 11-year old son in the mouth for using the word “SLUT.” (I just tapped him lightly, so don’t be calling Family Services on me.)
Anyway, he and his 15-year old brother were on the basketball court playing ball. Some young girls came on the court and started playing too. Well, he came inside not too long after and I asked him, “Why aren’t you out there playing ball?” He said, “Because I don’t want to be out there with those sluts.” At first, I gave him a look because I thought I’d misheard. So, I asked him, “What did you say?” and he repeated it. “I don’t want to be out there playing with those sluts.” So, he got tapped in the mouth and I asked him to explain what that word meant. He couldn’t. I told him that it was a rude term to use when referring to girls or women and especially not something an 11-year old should be saying. I sent him in his room to think about it.
In summary, I guess being a slut has nothing to do with how many men you sleep with. It’s how someone else perceives you. Those teen girls were talking and conducting themselves in a manner that my 11-year old perceived as being “slutty.” In my opinion, you can be a slut and no one will be the wiser if you are discreet about your encounters and don't put yourself "out there". After all, your business can’t get in the streets unless you put it out there.

Hmmmm, well, my personal definition of Slut, and it isn't reserved for just women is a person that has random sex, with random people with no thought of consequence or care. I don't think the number matters so much, but the circumstances might. When sex becomes primarily alley ways, fast food restaurant bathrooms, other people's bathrooms, several times a day/week with just as many different individuals with no name exchange, no numbers or any information whatsoever, then we are in slutville.
